Look out Steve harper Georges les Green is headed to a question period near you! |
Okay Georges we get it.
Change is good. I hear you're a pretty good guy too.
But c'mon Elizabeth May. Isn't this whole Green Party thing going just a little off the rails.
Here's my thought.
We get Georges a seat somehow ... anyhow.
The first session of parliament he wears his hockey gloves to Question Period.
The first mealy mouthed chunk of weak-kneed screed we hear emanating from that huge grating gob of our fearless leader, Sevie Wonderhair Surprise, we set things in motion.
We have Cherry in the visitors gallery.
Don gives Liz and Georges that ubiquitous thumbs up sign.
And now comes Georges la Green, jumping the desks; and now Verdant laracque crossing the floor.
Dropping the gloves he shouts at Wonderhair.
"Les' go Anglish colis. I'm close dat' mouth for you rite damn now, tabernac! Allo Stevie and dis' fron les guys down at da' Manoir de Papineau in Gatineau!
"Vive Le Green Tabernac!
"Now bon Stevie you are mine in the name of la bon Sainte Rene Levesque."
Parliamentary cameras are trying like hell to fade to test; but we just manage to see that first delightful punch.
It plunges through that luxurious do atop the exposed melon of our vitally mismanaged PM.
Now. Ouch! Georges grabs his hand. The teflon coating applied to our Rt Honourable hairdo appears to have some punch of its own.
"Oh Merde. Dat Hair ... she's hard like nails! Tabernac!"
"Oh Merde. Dat Hair ... she's hard like nails! Tabernac!"
Stevie grabs Big Georges; wearing bright green cardigan. Holy Irony Batman. It's freaking cashmere!
The screen goes grey as we watch Georges and Stevie grappled in that iconic rock ém sock ém pose.
Don Cherry is standing in the visitors secion up top thumbs raided like Caesar at the freaking Forum.
He's joined in the pose by a group of grade five students from Beausejour, Manitoba who will now have a tale to tell their grandkids.
OOOOH LA LA ... juicin' up the porous parliamentary process.
Vive les Greens. Vive Big Georges.
And Vive Le Canada Libre!!!
Cue Stompin'Tom's Hockey song.
It's Election Night in Canada BAAAAAABBBBY!!!!!!!
Either that or it's Sudbury Saturday Night!!
Stomp it Tom!
And see ya' all at dem polls.
