Bomber-Game-Day-Post #2

Earlier this summer Queen Liz stopped by with a 995 year-old piece of parchment to assist in laying the cornerstone of Winnipeg's new human right's museum.
That parchment, the Magna Carta, spent its last day (today) in full view of visitors to the Manitoba Legislative Buildings. A quick stop along the way to the Bomber game to pay homage to the document that first laid out the basic tenets of human rights seemed a small price to pay on a sunny afternoon. Yet it makes me wonder, as I sit here at another Bomber game, if I will not soon feel as if I'm imprisoned without justification for another three hours during today's game, denied the same right to freedom granted in the magna carta:

No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions, or outlawed or exiled, or deprived of his standing in any other way, nor will we proceed with force against him, or send others to do so, except by the lawful judgment of his equals or by the law of the land.

Go Bombers!
